What To Expect

Spread over three of Canada's most popular mountains, Mont-Sainte-Anne, Stoneham and Le Massif, this programme gives you the unique chance to become a fully qualified snow sports instructor while getting work experience at the same time.

Through our world-class coaching, outdoor adventure activities and our vibrant social life, you will leave the programme as a highly employable instructor with the qualifications and leadership skills needed to gain future employment at resorts worldwide. A number of adventurous excursions and social events are included in the course fee. The course also aims to improve your own technique - so if you’re not the world’s best skier or snowboarder, but you’re really keen to get better, then this is the course for you!

You will also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor adventure activities, skills clinics, cultural trips and an unforgettable social life. Great experiences, great friendships and open to all!

Certifications

You will be pleased to know that the certifications you gain are awarded by Canada's national governing bodies: the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA), The Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) and the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation (CFCS).

You will have the opportunity to gain the following snow sports qualifications:

• CSIA Ski Instructor Level 1 and 2
• CASI Snowboard Instructor Level 1 and 2
• CSIA Freeski Coach Level 1
• CASI Freestyle Coach Level 1
• CFCS Ski Race Coach Level 1

These qualifications are all affiliated to the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA). This means you could find yourself working at resorts in Canada, the USA, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Japan and even Europe.

Living and Socialising in Canada

You will be living in Quebec in a traditional Canadian chalet - an outback log cabin! Rest assured you will be very comfortable and there will be a great communal atmosphere with other trainees and staff living, working and partying together! You will be close to Québec City where the annual Carnaval de Québec takes place and where there’s always something going on!
