individuals who can offer direct assistance to those in need. Your work may involve teaching English to Tibetan monks or nuns, or helping disabled young people live a more independent life. India is not for the faint hearted and you must be mature, self sufficient, open minded and willing to forgo some of your creature comforts.

There is a teaching skills course in London that you will be asked to go on. for 5 days before you depart, BUT the cost IS included in your fee.

Anyone who actually wants to make a real difference to young people’s lives during their gap year. Rarely will you find a section of society so in need of the affection, time and love that a gap year student can give them.

We can arrange your return flight from London to Bucharest (cost £250). Extend your stay beyond 3 months for £275 per extra month.

Anyone keen on immersing themselves in South African culture and helping disabled or under privileged children.

No qualifications needed, just a big heart and a desire to provide care and support. Anyone who is qualified however will be well utilised!

You !! If you are up to the challenge of helping a variety of different students whilst learning a new language and becoming immersed in a completely different culture.

Individuals with a can-do attitude who are willing to make the most of their placement and above all enjoy it. Someone who enjoys teaching English as a foreign language and who is sensitive to the predicament of children with disabilities.

volunteers who wish to dedicate some time to supporting children with a range of disabilities. Medical qualifications or experience are a benefit but not necessary.

Anyone who loves children!! This is a fantastic project and an ideal experience for you if you want to learn about early years childcare or simply just bond with these gorgeous children! In exchange you’ll get lots of fun - plus a thoroughly enjoyable, exciting and authentic experience in beautiful Brazil!

This placement would suit:

Those who are keen to learn Portuguese and to reach out to troubled children in the heart of South America.

Cost details:

This programme includes a 3 day Iguacu Falls trip inc flights (worth £825). For non-Portuguese speakers there is a 2 week certified Polygot Portuguese course and hotel accommodation (£695 extra). We can arrange your return flight from London to Sao Paulo (cost £800).

Can be extended up to 6 months for no extra cost. Further extensions can be arranged.

This placement would suit:

Someone who has some specific skills in nursing, physiotherapy, IT or has an arts & crafts background. However, if you don’t have any of these skills but you're very enthusiastic about getting involved, we can probably assist you. You're very welcome on this project if you are disabled.
