Includes: 2 day UK Preparation Course, Induction course and basic Nyanga training. We can arrange a flight from London to Livingstone for you (£1000).

This placement would suit people who want to make a real difference, want first-hand experience of real African culture and who have initiative.

Requirements:

You must have some medical experience or currently be training in the medical sector. You will be required to send a copy of your CV and a letter of motivation explaining why you want to take part in this placement and what you hope to gain from it

Cost details:

Costs vary depending on how long you want to stay for. Prices start from £995 for 2 weeks and include food and accommodation, 24/7 support and backup before you go and throughout your placement, as well as meeting you at the nearest airport. When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a minimal additional cost.

Duration details:

This placement can be extended for any length of time (many of our volunteers do!), subject to availability and any visa restrictions that may apply.

Anybody who loves lions and is ready for a great big adventure! No qualifications or previous experience are needed, just a good dose of enthusiasm!

What’s not included: Flights, Insurance, Cost of Visas (if a visa is required, but we'll provide necessary documents and assistance). You may also want to budget for a little spending money for days off where you may want to go sightseeing and explore the wonders of Zambia with the other volunteers!
